Most Treatments Covered by Insurance, Including Medicare

The physicians at Missouri Vein Care participate in many insurance plans. When you call to make your appointment, be sure to provide your insurance information and our office will call to verify benefits and coverage prior to your visit.

Please bring your insurance cards with you the day of your appointment. Aesthetic appointments that are elective will require payment in full at the time of service.

These steps are required for insurance approval:

  • Obtain a physician evaluation.
  • Have a complete Venous Ultrasound Screening of your legs.
  • Complete a stocking trial period.
  • Follow up visit.

Frequently, before approving coverage for actual vein treatment, many insurers require a physician supervised stocking trial period that may last from 2 weeks to 6 months depending on your insurer.
