Our Services
Complimentary Vein Screening
Our Complimentary Vein Screenings consist of a group presentation and overview of vein conditions and current therapies. This is followed by a limited private ultrasound exam and a visit with the doctor to discuss what can be done to improve your vein condition. You should allow 30 minutes to complete the screenng. You can also discuss questions concerning payment options with our financial staff.
Venous Duplex Ultrasound
This non-invasive diagnostic test is performed in our office by registered vascular technologists. The initial ultrasound takes 60 minutes and is needed before obtaining insurance approval and most physician consultations.
Physician Consultation
A visit takes approximately 60 minutes, and the physician will review your ultrasound results, medical history and examine your vein condition before discussing treatment options with you.
Laser Closure of abnormal (refluxing) veins
This non-surgical procedure closes down abnormal veins responsible for symptoms or visible veins. It is performed in our office and although the procedure usually takes only about 60 minutes, you should plan on 2 hours at most. Using the CoolTouch Laser System, a laser fiber is inserted in to the vein through a tiny puncture site. The laser energy closes down the vein to relieve the symptoms and help eliminate unsightly veins.
Micro-phlebectomy
Performed in the office, under local anesthesia, this non-surgical procedure allows for the removal of medium to large varicose veins through very small incisions in the skin to provide the best resolution of symptoms and unsightly veins. Micro-phlebectomy takes approximately 45-60 minutes during the EVLA procedure and allows patients to be back to normal activity the next day.
Sclerotherapy – Spider Vein Treatment
This non-surgical procedure for eliminating small varicose and spider veins takes 30-60 minutes and is performed in the office by our team of sclerotherapy nurses and physicians. Sclerotherapy works by injecting a special solution into the problem vein(s) them to close down and disappear. Because most patients receive numbing cream or numbing spray before the treatment, this procedures is virtually pain less and patients can immediately resume regular activity.
Surface Spider Vein Laser Treatment
This non surgical treatment uses laser energy to close down spider veins. The effectiveness can be increased with the use of sclerotherapy, and our team will use special imaging systems (Veinlite) to identify problem veins feeding into the spider veins so they can be treated.
